Is no one bothered about this site? I can't understand why no one is posting, I know there is probably nothing new to talk about but we could all just come on to say hello. I know people have busy lives but it could end up that we will loose this site, why should Sony (if it is run by them) pay for it if no one is bothered to use it and to be honest, you can't blame them
Please don't let that happen, we must try to keep Tammy's music and legacy alive and on going.
Sorry to have a moan by I for one do not want the site to close
Best wishes to those of you that read this
Jill

I have another possible

I have another possible reason for not many visitors on the site. I put a note in my Christmas cards to fellow Tammy fans, encouraging them to visit the website. This reply is not a one-off occurence. I'm sure Sue won't mind if I copy what she said on here.
"I do go on Tammy's site and read what people are saying. Ever since they redid it, I can't log on. I tried to set up a new account, but it still won't let me on. Then, it says my email address is already in their file. It is very frustrating. It makes me sad that people seem to have forgotten about her."
So what's the answer to that?

To all, Maybe people are not

To all,
Maybe people are not using this site as much because there is so much of Tammy on sites that offer so much more like you tube, ebay, amazon and many others.
You tube is an amazing site to see Tammy. You can spend hours watching her videos and they are added to almost every day. Like many other Tammy fans i wish this site was more interactive like most other celebrity fan sites. I think people are using this one a bit more over the last few weeks and hope this improves.

Keep it Tammy

Colin

Hi Jeff, Go right ahead and

Hi Jeff,
Go right ahead and play the Christmas CD!! It's too good to be confined to a few short weeks!
Yes, we noticed the change of depth in her voice when she recorded that CD, a depth which she regained in the later years, when life's experiences had touched her more deeply.
I can never understand why Sony never saw fit to release the Wings album. There are some stupendous songs on there, which legally would never have seen the light of day. What a waste. Richey told me that there are about 100 other recordings which are buried somewhere in Sony's vaults.

Over 100 more songs?

Over 100 more songs? Gosh.

Richey.. you know what to send me and Jill for Christmas now!! :)

Joking.

But, I would LOVE them to be released.

To those of you that are not

To those of you that are not bothering to post can I make a suggestion...put a Tammy cd on..listen to that beautiful voice...think about Tammy and then think to yourself..can I really ignore her forum and let it possibly be closed down because no one is using it.
True Tammy fans would do everything to keep her music and legacy going. As Carolyn has said in another post, Tammy went on stage for her fans and would not let them down when really she was not well enough to do it...please everyone don't let Tammy down now...put that cd on and listen!!!
God Bless you Tammy
Jill

I know it's a little early,

I know it's a little early, but I have been listening to Tammy's Christmas disc. I don't know if it's just me, but there is a distinct difference in her presentation. I know she was "with child" with Georgette when she recorded this. I especially like Gentle Shepard and the classics Blue Christmas, Away In A Manger, Silent Night, O little Town and It Came Upon A Midnight Clear.

FYI - Jill
I have had a really hard time getting signed in. I use the same password and I get rejected. I keep having to change my password.

Hi Jeff I don't think you are

Hi Jeff
I don't think you are too early to play Tammy's Christmas cd..I play it anytime of the year I have to admit I have not noticed the difference, next time I play it I will listen more closely.
I know what you mean about having a hard time signing in..I did..now I just stay logged in all the time, occasionally it does log off on it's own but not very often...in actual fact I had to log in to answer your post and guess what? ..it wouldn't work lol I've found out it is case sensitive. It's nice that you did persevere with it though...we really need to try and keep this site going, any ideas as to how we can get fans interested again?

Well, it looks as though even

Well, it looks as though even that appeal didn't raise many answers. It is so very sad for Tammy's memory.
She was such a darling person and deserves so much more than she is getting. What price the times when she struggled onto the stage, nowhere near fit for a show. Just to give pleasure and delight to all her fans. Where have they all gone now?
Was a lifetime of music erased by a tragic, early death?
She changed the world for us (my family and I) and will always and forever be in our hearts.
How come Johnny Cash is getting more and more popular since his death (and he earned his accolades too) yet Tammy is fading into the background of public view??
Tammy was special, one of a kind, and touched so many people. She gave her all, yet she is so soon forgotten.
So sad.
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn Everything you've

Hi Carolyn
Everything you've said is so true..I feel so angry, would like to voice my opinions so much more but feel this is not the place to do it, this has always been such a friendly site and I would not dream of changing that by saying what I really feel, do you think people don't post because Richey doesn't have anything to do with the site (at least I don't think he does)? I can't understand why people just don't seem to care anymore and also as you say it is so sad
At least we have not forgotten Tammy and like you she will always be in my heart even though I did not know her personally.
God Bless you Tammy
Jill

Hi Jill, Yes, I think you

Hi Jill,
Yes, I think you have hit the nail on the head. There was always such a mass of people around Tammjy, who wanted to bask in her celebrity status. After she died, somehow, that same status seemed to pass to Richey.
What other assumption can you make, except to link the lack of posts with the absence of Richey from this site.
Tammy once said to me that out of every thousand people who flocked arouynd her, only one of them truly cared about Tammy the person. This only serves to prove how plainly she saw it.
