Why is no one posting...we all said how much we missed the board when it was down...so where are you all?
I know this site is different and a lot of us are not totally happy with it, it's missing a lot of the features the old board had but it's all we've got...if we don't use it Sony will think it's not worth keeping it going and how are we going to convince Sony that there are Tammy fans out there who want more material released.

It's a long time since I read the stories. Do you mean the time when Tammy was struggling to get down off the stage? She was wearing a really elegant long dress and looked really lovely. We were on the front row and she held her arms out to Den to lift her down. He did so, revealing that Tammy was wearing some warm jog pants under her dress. When we teased her about it afterwards, she said there was a really cold draft up on that stage, and Tammy really liked to be warm!!

The last CD I listened to?
The last CD I listened to? Well it was on an MP3 player belonging to my nearly 3-year-old grandson, who is absolutely enthralled by Tammy's songs. When he let me listen (for a very brief minute!) the song was No Charge, the song which changed my life!
Yes, we need new topics to discuss. How about favourite stories concerning Tammy, special memories. What about the new book on Tammy which is due out in a few months?? It is destined to be extremely explosivfe, to say the least.
If Tammy touched paople's lives, then there should be plenty we could share.

I was reading your stories the other day, that you had sent me..why don't you share the Stranger On Stage one...where Den held his arm out to Tammy to help her come down the stairs from the stage?
I saw Tammy in concert, every time she came to England...the nearest I got to Tammy was when she shook my hand as she did her walk about singing SBYM, I was so thrilled and I was lucky enough to have this happen at 2 separate concerts.
It's strange because although I never knew Tammy personally..I did and still do feel as if she was a personal friend, I guess that was just the way she was, she had the knack of making people feel that way

It's 5 weeks since anyone has posted on here..me included but in my defence there is health issues in the family. We need to keep posting to keep this site going, as I've said before the site is not as good as the old one but we are not going to be able to ask for more features if no one is bothering to post.
This has been asked before but just to start up a thread...what was the last Tammy cd you listened to and when, how often do you play a Tammy cd...once or twice a day,a week or do you play them all day?

I think one of the problems with the site is we do not have Richey's input but think that may be down to his health problems, if you do read Richey, best wishes to you, it may also be that this site does not have the features the old one had, it would be good if whoever runs the board could perhaps include some of them.
The last Tammy cd I played was last night, it was a compilation one I had made myself, I have made 7 of these and none of them have the same tracks on them I've put tracks that you don't get on the cd's that have been released in the last few years. I have to say I did not buy the latest as there was nothing different, it was the same tracks that has been released over and over, I'm sure if I can make 7 of them to date Sony can surly do it.

I just finished my mix I made. It has The Bottle, Your Memory's Gone To Rest, He Was There When I Needed You, Love's The Answer,A Good Night's Love, I Just Heard A Heartbreak, and other "non hits". I watch the recent DVD at least twice a week. It's wonderful. I love the footage of her wedding to Richey. I check this site everyday I work (which is almost every day). We're getting a cold front tonight and temps drop to 28 degrees. They are running Hee Haw on RFD tv channel and Tammy has been on twice since early Sept. I'm putting all of Tammy's performances on a DVD (once I have saved enough of them). The first appearance was from 1968 and Stand By Your Man was a new release. The dress was pretty, but very dated for the time. Let's keep talking, I enjoy reading all of your posts.

Like you the Cd's I made are all "non hits" I love I Just Heard a Heartbreak and Your Memory's Gone to Rest, I'm sure if Sony were to release Cd's with the less well known tracks or even ones with some new material they would sell like 'hot cakes' I know George Jones new album with the previously unreleased duet with Tammy was bought by a lot of people just for that track alone
When the computer goes on, I check e-mails and Tammy's site first, it's so disheartening when you find no new posts isn't it? and like you I enjoy reading the posts...you never know perhaps we may have given it a kick start...fingers crossed!!!
